The fundamentals that separate beginner players from advanced ones at 30wil's tables.
The complete experience for the Brazilian player who takes poker seriously.
Brazil has always been a breeding ground for great poker players. Names like André Akkari, Humberto Brenes, and many other Brazilians have built impressive international careers at both live and online tables over the past few decades. As online betting regulation continues to advance in the country, the online poker ecosystem in Brazil is set to grow even further in the coming years — and 30wil is right at the center of that growth.
Poker is fundamentally different from other casino games. In roulette or slots, the house always holds a fixed edge and outcomes are purely random — but in poker, you play against other players, not the house. 30wil only collects the rake (a small percentage of the pot in cash games) or an entry fee in tournaments. That means if you're a better player than the others at your table, you can turn a consistent profit over the long run. This skill element is what makes poker unique among all the games on offer.
One thing that sets the poker experience at 30wil apart is the competitive rake structure. Excessive rake is one of the most common problems on smaller platforms and can eat into the profitability of even technically superior players. At 30wil, the rake is structured to be fair at every level — from beginners at the micros to regulars at the highest stakes. The result is healthier games and a more engaged player pool across all tables.
If you're starting from scratch, 30wil offers micro-stakes tables from R$ 0.10/R$ 0.20 — low enough to learn by playing without risking significant amounts. There's also a play-money area for anyone who wants to get comfortable with the rules before making a deposit. The natural path is to start in play money, move to the micros with small Pix deposits, and build up from there as both your game and your bankroll grow.
In recent years, PKO (Progressive Knockout) tournaments — also known as Bounty tournaments — have exploded in popularity across Brazil. In the PKO format, every player has a knockout bounty on their head. When you eliminate an opponent, you instantly pocket half their bounty as real cash, and the other half is added to your own bounty. As eliminations pile up, the bounties keep growing for the most active survivors.
This format is exciting because you can recover part of your buy-in by eliminating just one player, even if you don't make it to the money in the traditional prize structure. The 30wil Bounty Hunter tournament, held on Wednesdays and Thursdays with R$ 10,000.00 guaranteed, is one of the most sought-after events of the week for exactly that reason.
Every hand played in cash games and every tournament entered on 30wil earns VIP points that level up your status in the platform's VIP Program. The more you play, the more points you accumulate — and the rewards grow with you: higher cashback, free spins on slots, access to exclusive VIP tournaments with significant prize pools, and from Platinum level up, a dedicated VIP manager to handle any account matter quickly. It's 30wil's way of recognizing and rewarding players who play regularly on the platform.
